Flutist, Frieda Chan, has performed through out Asia, Europe and US as soloist, recitalist and orchestral musician. Currently residing in New York City, Ms. Chan is a Doctorate of Musical Arts candidate under the tutelage of Jeffery Khaner and Carol Wincenc.
Ms. Chan is the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Metropolitan Chamber Players and the Spokane Flute Center. In 2007, she was grant recipient from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
Ms. Chan is currently faculty at the Long Island Conservatory of Music SUNY, Lycée Français de New York, and the LISMA International Music Festival/Competition.
